MA Gov Once Waxed Poetic on Riots: 'America's Burning, But That's How Forests Grow'

GAWD, I love progressives.

Have y'all figured that out about me yet?

They are the gift that you never wanted but keep on getting.

All this focus on Chicago, Seattle, and the main event in Portland right now must have made the Hamas supporters in Michelle Wu's Boston feel left out and froggy, as they had themselves a weekend rumpus that carried over into the past couple of nights.

Now, to be fair - and I'm always trying to be fair - I can't absolutely ascribe the tantrums to jealousy over, say, Portland getting all the Noem and National Guard visits, plus gobs of TV airtime.

Part of it was the date - October 7. Foul, cretinous beings they are, that horror was worth gleefully tearing something up over, naturally.

And might have been some fractiousness over the impending peace deal with Israel, as that means Trump's pulled the protest rug out from under their dirty little feet. I mean, if the terrorists they work for are happy enough to sign a deal, why are they in the streets screaming about a genocide that never happened? Not that contrary, incoherent messaging and outright hypocrisy have ever made a difference, and when you're really only there because you hate Jews, well. Nothing's changed.

So out in the streets you go, for a 'vehicle takeover.' Hey. It's a weekend.

At 2 a.m. Sunday morning, the kiddies decided to have a police car-b-que.

Boston Police say a crowd of more than 100 people attacked Boston Police cruisers, shutting down the intersection of Tremont Street and Massachusetts Avenue with their cars, just after 2 AM Sunday.

Police are calling this a ‘large-scale vehicle takeover.’

“That cop car lighting on fire because of the explosives was insane I’ve never seen something like that in my life,” said Gianna Tufano, who lives nearby.

People who live at this South End intersection were woken up to the chaos early Sunday morning.

It was like crazy there was fire everywhere, there was cop cars for probably a mile down,” said Laila Dellorso, who lives nearby.

WEEEEE

Mayor Wu was on camera saying, 'Not my circus, not my monkeys, which turned out to be true for at least two of the thugs. They'd come in from Rhode Island and were immediately released on $500 and $1000 bail, and a stern, finger-wagging 'stay out of Massachusetts.'

Man. I bet that sure taught them a lesson.

What it did was teach everyone else that they were good to go.

Which is what they did, as Hamas lovers swarmed Boston Common Tuesday night, nasty black, red, and green flags flying, and their pointy little heads all keffiyeh-wrapped to hide their angry little snarling faces.

It was spicy, starting with some celebratory 10/7 remembrance ruckus and rampaging.

After all, they've gotten away with it so many times before in uber lefty Michelle Wu's Safest City, what's the worry?

Let 'er rip.

The Palestinian protest crowd, as well-behaved as ever, left a trail of blood and destruction.

One protester punched an officer in the face, breaking his nose and smashing his glasses, while another masked marcher fired pepper spray into the face of police trying to clear Tremont Street during a chaotic clash in Boston, according to a police report.

The report, released Wednesday in response to a request from the Herald, describes “rioting” conditions as police attempted to clear the way shut down by 200-300 pro-Palestinian protesters, many of whom were wearing masks and gloves, despite the warm temperatures.

Emergency vehicles attempting to get to another call in the area of Boston Common could not get through the street. Police said they were initially trying to get interlocked, chanting protesters to the sidewalk.

That’s when the violence began.

Almost immediately, according to the police report, an officer was struck in the face by a protester, “causing his nose to break.”

That officer's nose was so badly broken that he's going to need reconstructive surgery to have a nose.

...Protesters refused to clear the streets, instead directing “vulgar chants” at police, including screams of “(Expletive) you Nazis” and “BPD is KKK,” in full earshot of hundreds of pedestrians commuting home from work and people trying to enjoy the Boston Common, many of whom included elderly people and children, the report states.

The scene soon ensnared traffic — down Tremont Street as far as Court Street — with protesters locking arms in an attempt to overcome police efforts to clear the streets. Officers “were forced” to physically move protesters, “which caused the protesters to fight back,” the report states.

“As the protesters fought back, officers were placing suspects into handcuffs and taking them into custody for their role in the unlawful assembly and riotous behavior by blocking emergency vehicles on Tremont Street,” the report states.

“During the incident, many officers had their hats knocked off their head, radios pulled from their duty belts, body worn cameras unclipped from their vests, and other equipment dislodged from their belts,” the report went on to state.

I so appreciate how moving protestors illegally blocking traffic 'causes' them to 'fight back.' Poor gentle souls.

They weren't any better behaved at court the next day when they all showed up to support their cop-nose-breaking buddy. And, woo, dawg - didn't they have themselves a fit when a MA judge levied an almost real bail on the scumbag.

Supporters of the pro-Palestinian protester charged with punching a Boston Police officer and breaking his nose cursed at reporters, shielding themselves with keffiyehs, after their companion was taken from the courtroom in handcuffs.

Judge James M. Stanton ordered Roder Atwood, 21, of Somerville, held on $10,000 bail, drawing gasps from those who sat in the gallery at Boston Municipal Court Central, the morning after a protest turned violent at Boston Common.

...Supporters blocked their faces and bodies with masks and keffiyehs, a scarf connected to Palestinian liberation. They grew agitated and combative as reporters pressed questions.

“You are harassing us,” one supporter said. “(Expletive) leave, (expletive) leave. (Expletive) you.”

Atwood, a 21-year-old senior studying cognitive science at Tufts University, also faces charges of assault and battery on a police officer and assault and battery resulting in serious bodily injury.

I'm not sure what got into the judge, but it's a start.

The plaintive cry can be heard from residents all over Beantown.

WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING IN BOSTON

Well, dang. You can listen to what the Massachusetts governor had to say in 2020 as the Floyd riots enveloped cities around the country.

She was so, so smug.

I can tell you exactly what's happened to Boston, or any Democrat progressive city, for that matter.

They're all the same.

Maura Healey and Michelle Wu's little blue forest has grown, and those progressive chickens are coming home to roost in it.

If we thought our job in pushing back against the Academia/media/Democrat censorship complex was over with the election, think again. This is going to be a long fight. Ed, David, John, and I are here for it.
