Illegal Alien from Lebanon Caught at Border Admits He Is Hezbollah, Hoped to Make a Bomb

An illegal alien from Lebanon was apprehended illegally crossing the southern border near El Paso, Texas by Border Patrol agents on March 9.

Basel Bassel Ebbadi, 22, was asked what he was doing in the United States. He said he was going to New York and hoped to make a bomb. "I'm going to make a bomb." He admitted he is a member of Hezbollah.

During a sworn interview, Ebbadi said he trained with Hezbollah for seven years. He said he was an active member guarding weapons locations for another four years.

Thanks, Joe Biden.

Ebbadi's trained to be a jihadi to kill people "that was not Muslim," according to ICE documents.

Threatening Border Patrol personnel wasn't very smart. It goes to show the arrogance of those coming to the United States to do us harm. The self-entitled expectation to be allowed into the country and then to stay will not end well.

A surge in illegal aliens whose names match names on the terror watchlist entering the United States has been reported by Border Patrol agents. The number has escalated to record levels. It makes sense because the number of illegal aliens entering the United States since Biden took office has been at historic levels.

Hezbollah is an Iran-backed terror group. It has launched missiles into northern Israel since the start of the Israel-Hamas war that has killed about a dozen IDF soldiers and seven civilians.

The question is not if but when something horrible will happen because of trained terrorists living in our country. Joe Biden has blood on his hands from the increase in crime from illegal aliens around the country. Who knows how many are in the United States now? The illegal aliens known as gotaways run away before they are apprehended. There is no information on them at all, including where they came from and where they went once they crossed the border.

In fiscal year 2022, Border Patrol agents apprehended 98 individuals that matched the terror watchlist at both the southern and northern border. Almost twice the number were apprehended (172) in the 2023 fiscal year. Fiscal years end on September 20. In the first four months of 2024, 59 were apprehended.

To compare those numbers to the Trump administration years, the total number of people on the terror watchlist encountered between fiscal years 2017 and 2021 was 30 people. The criteria to land on the list has never been disclosed but it was expanded after 2021.

Ebbadi had no documentation though he reported entering Sweden, Ecuador, and Panama this year.

Ebbadi said he was fleeing Lebanon because he “didn’t want to kill people,” adding “once you’re in, you can never get out.”

Ebbadi didn’t have documents when he entered the US, claiming they were robbed “with a knife” while he was in Costa Rica, according to the ICE documents. He also admitted to using a fake birthday and name in Sweden, in Ecuador — where he claimed his father resides — and Panama this year.

He said he had originally hoped to go to New York and then move around the country.

If he doesn't want to kill people, why did he want to come to the U.S. and make a bomb? Is bomb-making a hobby, like knitting? It's ridiculous.

Ebbadi was placed in isolation. He was referred to the Tactical Terrorism Response Team (TTRT) for an interview because he was making "terroristic threats to personnel." Wait, I thought he said he didn't want to kill people.

He is allegedly marked for deportation but it is not clear to which country he will be returned.

In the meantime, this is proof that the terrorists from countries who wish to do us harm are here. This guy didn't just randomly decide to make the trip to the United States on his own. He's a part of a terrorist network. He admitted it. They are coming here with impunity because they can.
