Florida Republicans have made history by expanding their supermajority in the state legislature, a feat State Rep. Dean Black called “remarkable” and possibly “unprecedented.”

“I think it’s going to be a very exciting session filled with optimism,” Black said on Florida’s Voice Radio.

“We’re very excited to be returning, not just with a supermajority, but an increased supermajority. That is a remarkable thing, because, as you know, it’s really hard to get a supermajority. It’s almost impossible to keep one, but to grow one— that might even be unprecedented.”
