Now - another Beege hurricane story - we do have a connection to Columbus here in Pensacola.

This is September 2020, and, sadly, that ship is the replica La Niña, on its way to the ride of a lifetime for the four crew members aboard when Hurricane Sally blew in.

Everyone miraculously made it off the ship alive that night after running it aground near our baseball stadium.

Sally had been forecast to weaken and head into Biloxi.

Heh.
