Hmmm: Penn Trustees Call Emergency Meeting

The Daily Pennsylvanian notes that Magil has “faced widespread criticism as a result” of her statements “including from alumni, students, Penn Hillel, the White House, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, and Pennsylania’s United States Senate delegation.”

[I suspect that Shapiro’s criticism probably forced the trustees to consider some sort of action against Magill. I’m skeptical that they will do anything of consequence, but just this step may be enough to signal a realigning of some incentives. We’ll see. — Ed]
