awmakers are preparing to enter a special session Nov. 6 to tackle multiple bills on topics like disaster relief, sanctions on Iran, support for Israel and more.
A memo sent out by Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo, R-Naples, said they have identified several issues that “warrant our attention in advance of the 2024 Regular Session.”
Passidomo noted recent events including the “horrific attacks against Israel in the Middle East and devastation to the Big Bend caused by Hurricane Idalia here at home.”
“I am very pleased with the collaborative work product represented in this legislation,” Passidomo said.
