[It’s interesting that Trump is reacting to this now, more than two weeks after the NYT report (10/6). It feels even older than that, given how the war in Israel quickly eclipsed this. But as I noted at the time, there were good reasons for skepticism about this leaked claim, and subsequent reporting threw even more cold water on it.
