Police in Nebraska say a 22-year-old woman pretended to be the mother of a 26-year-old man charged with posing as a student at two Lincoln high schools, where he allegedly coaxed teen girls into sending him explicit photos.
Angela Navarro was arrested Friday for criminal impersonation after she allegedly traveled to register Zachary Scheich for classes at two Lincoln public high schools, which Scheich attended posing as a 17-year-old student last school year, Lincoln police said in a statement shared with The Messenger.
[How in the hell did that get past the adults in the enrollment office? Scheich is facing a potential life sentence for child trafficking as well as two other charges that carry a three-to-50 year sentence each. Navarro had better get the same sentence as Scheich does for conspiring to carry out this trafficking effort. And schools had better realize that traffickers are infiltrating their systems to find new victims. This is not the first such story in the last several months. — Ed]
