Nazi-Tatted Creep Has Surprising Take on Law Enforcement: 'Opportunistic Cowards'

Okay, okay, perhaps this isn't all that surprising from a guy who fantasized about raping intruders, but "not in a gay way." The calendar may provide the biggest surprise on this revelation, and the unknown unknowns yet to come after three weeks.

Fox News picked up Graham Platner's bon mot on law enforcement from previous reporting at the Maine Monitor, so this isn't exactly new. In the midst of the George Floyd riots, as cities burned from Minneapolis to both coasts, police departments began requisitioning riot gear for obvious reasons. Obvious to everyone, that is, except the Nazi-tatted Kik creeper living off Mommy and Daddy on an "oyster farm" with one client. "P-Hustle" wondered why "overweight pansies" needed to protect themselves from "aging hippies" with such equipment:

Embattled Senate candidate Graham Platner is facing backlash for calling law enforcement "opportunistic cowards" in a since-deleted Reddit post.

Platner, a far-left populist vying to become Maine’s next senator, made the comments in June 2020 in response to a post criticizing the Hancock County Sheriff's Department for seeking approval to purchase "riot gear." At the time, Black Lives Matter protests were spreading around the state, with some demonstrations turning violent, including vandalized storefronts and looting.

Platner, then 35, dismissed the sheriff’s request as "ridiculous."

"I guess the Sheriffs [sic] Department is so full of overweight pansies that they now need taxpayer dollars to protect themselves from George Stevens Academy sophomores and aging hippies," he wrote. "Cops are opportunistic cowards."

Or – and maybe I'm just spitballing here – police departments in Maine needed extra gear to protect businesses and cities from college twits and aging hippies that were burning down cities and businesses in the summer of 2020. It takes a very special level of stupidity to look at police requests for riot gear in June 2020 and conclude that the only reason for the requisition was to compensate for being "overweight pansies." The problem with these requests wasn't a lack of necessity, but a lack of foresight into how radical the Left had become and the potential for violent reactions after the unprecedented COVID lockdowns and the economic destruction they had already wreaked at that time. Police departments should have been stocking up on riot gear in March 2020, not June 2020.

Nor is this Platner's only commentary on law enforcement in that period. If "cops are opportunistic cowards" sounds Antifa-adjacent, Platner also went the full ACAB, apparently in reaction to a refusal by a local police officer to bend the knee to George Floyd:

Also in June 2020, Platner denounced a Maine police chief as "thin blue line trash" for declining to kneel with demonstrators protesting the death of George Floyd.

That month, he wrote "all cops are bastards" in remarks first reported by CNN.

In April 2021, Platner questioned whether there is a problem within policing "that extends into the profession as a whole" in a since-deleted post.

CNN covered the ACAB posting in a paywalled K-File report that also included his declaration of going the Full Communist. That dates back to October of last year, when Andrew Kaczynski was about the only mainstream media reporter interested in digging into Platner's background. At the time, Platner was seen more as a fringe challenger to Janet Mills, but rather than kill the campaign, these postings fired up the radical Left and energized donors on Platner's behalf.

At the time, that seemed strange. Why would the Left put its money behind a man who has done nothing with his life except mooch off his parents, s***post on Reddit, troll Kik, and mouth radical slogans? And that's when it becomes obvious: Platner is exactly who they are. They're all parent-moocher ne'er-do-wells, shouting empty slogans and blaming everyone but themselves for the wreckage of their lives, and the progressive money handlers see the electoral power of envy and misery.

Anyway. These messages will be seen as a feature rather than a bug to the hard Left, but six years out from the George Floyd riots, it will be a bug to voters anywhere to the right of Bernie Sanders. That's not the real problem facing Platner and Maine Democrats, though; it's what hasn't come out yet that poses the biggest danger. The party has about three weeks left to get Maine Kampf to withdraw from the race and replace Der Oysterführer with a slightly less nutty and somewhat more accomplished replacement at the state convention. If they can't make the switch, the GOP will likely unlock the Kik archives of Herr Totenkopf, which Platner's campaign refuses to provide. And who knows what else may emerge?

Maine voters may not want to vote for an Antifa-adjacent candidate for Senate in a general election, especially not with the exceedingly normal and centrist Susan Collins still an option. The longer and deeper these revelations become, the more obvious that choice will be.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
