Hasan Piker: The Revolutionary Who Can’t Stand Being Disliked

Social media

I took a few swings at Hasan Piker yesterday in my Sunday Smiles column, but his whining deserves its own post. The target yesterday was Abdul El-Sayed.

Piker has spent years cosplaying a revolutionary: America deserved 9/11, Mao was “one of the great leaders of this world,” Hamas is “a thousand times better” than Israel, and the Oct. 7 rapes “don’t change the dynamic.” He built that into a left-wing manosphere influencer act and hit it big.

The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and a lot of the Pravda media worked mightily to turn him into a Lefty Joe Rogan. They don’t understand Joe Rogan. They think Rogan is a Neanderthal. Piker they understood just fine.

The Democrats, panicked that they are (rightly) perceived as the Estrogen party, latched onto Piker as a potential savior. They have embraced him to the point that candidates appear on his podcast/Twitch stream, campaign with him, and even have adopted many of his most antisemitic positions.

Only now has it become obvious that Piker is a liability, and their response is to kinda-sorta distance themselves from him, arguing that they cozied up to him because they wanted access to his audience, but don't want to associate themselves with Piker's aggressive communism, America-hatred, and his open calls for violence, such as when he called for the blood of capitalists to run in the streets.

The candidate most associated with Piker is, of course, Abdul El-Sayed, who spent days with Piker and made his closing pitch alongside him. The two were joined at the hip, and while Piker is no more antisemitic today than a week ago, his explicit warning to Jews that they had better disown Israel or face consequences (that they already face, actually) has crossed a line for some reason in Democrats' minds.

Democrats are in full panic over Piker. The defenses are getting more and more clownish.

Dingell wins the red nose award for the day:

"Piker created this crisis when he came into Michigan months ago.”

As if he just rolled in and started showing up at El-Sayed campaign events on his own

Look at her throw her hands up in the air, like 'whaddya want us to do???'

He was invited to Michigan by the Democrat nominee, Deb.

He's the one that created the crisis, Deb.

Absolute clown world stuff.

Establishment Democrats are lining up to disown Piker, and Abdul El-Sayed now says he won't campaign with the man, although he still will not disassociate himself explicitly from Piker or his views. Others claim El-Sayed has "apologized" for appearing with Piker, but that is most certainly not true.

What El-Sayed has done is deflect and refuse to talk about Piker anymore, calling him just "a streamer from California," as if he barely knows him and certainly has nothing to do with his campaign.

This keeps getting worse.

Abdul El-Sayed: "I am not interested in a conversation about a social media person in California."

Reporter: "Why did you bring him to Michigan then?"

Abdul: *waves off question*

Different reporter: "There are Jewish voters who DO want to have that conversation. Everyone I've talked to has been asking me to ask you whether you condemn Hasan Piker."

Abdul (not condemning): "I'm telling you this is not a campaign about a single streamer in California."

Piker, who fancies himself a revolutionary communist with an iron will and the blood of a tiger ready to take on the entire capitalist establishment, has taken to whining about the criticism all day, every day. Or at least it sure seems that way. A guy who screams about the need for capitalist blood in the streets has become a whiner who complains about not being liked and advertisers being nervous about associating with him.

That's no exaggeration. He says his feelings are hurt and warns darkly that Democrats will pay a price if they keep distancing themselves from him. Unfortunately for him, a whole lot of Democrats worry that they are already paying a price for being associated with him.

There are so many levels of irony here, not the least of which is that Piker has been saying that his goal is to destroy the Democrat establishment and replace it with a bunch of Hasan Piker lookalikes. He apparently expected the establishment to sit back and let him do that without firing back.

He's quite clear that he wants any Jewish Democrat who doesn't condemn Israel to be excommunicated from the party, but complains when they won't endorse his views and his favorite candidate, who obviously agrees with him.

Hasan Piker built his entire brand on hating America, loving revolutionaries, promoting political violence, and attacking Jews and any Democrats who are associated with them. He spent years getting into the spotlight.

Now he is complaining about the heat, as it's clear to a lot of Democrats that attaching themselves to the antisemitic, America-hating socialists like Hasan Piker is costly to them. They are running away because he is a political liability, and Abdul El-Sayed could lose because he is so closely associated with Piker.

🚨🚨 Crashout, Day 4: Hasan Piker is now giving orders to elected Democrats.

On Rep. Hillary Scholten (D-MI): "This person is a fucking asshole. Her whole role in this is to ratf*ck the race."

On Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ): "Is there any clearer indication of someone's loyalty lying with Israel over his own party?...This is your moment to shut the fuck up."

He takes credit for Abdul El-Sayed's campaign: "I'm proud of all the work that we put in to make sure that he won the primary."

He retracts nothing: "Israel is turning into Jewish ISIS...Israel is making Jews less safe...I stand by that, and I will literally openly double down, triple down."

All of this because Piker threatened that "someone" will "take action" against Jews if they continue to support Israel.

Democrats fear that Hasan Piker is so toxic to a few key constituencies that El-Sayed could lose a winnable seat, and they don't want to go down with El-Sayed. And Jewish Democrats in Congress and in the general population see Piker's rise as symptomatic of a larger abandonment of Jews among young Democrats.

It scares them, and rightly. So they disavow Piker, as they should have done a long time ago.

It's delicious that Piker whines about the people he openly hates not liking him. What, did he expect them to embrace him and realize that what they have believed all their lives is wrong, or even evil? If so, he's an idiot; if not, he's still an idiot for complaining.

I'm loving it. Piker's reaction is the cherry on top of the chocolate fudge sundae of schadenfreude.

Editor's Note: The Democrat Party has been infected by socialism, and it's spreading FAST. Democrats are claiming there's nothing to worry about, but we know the truth.
