Emotions are running so high among Democrats these days that I have created a bookmark folder labeled "Democrat Hate."

I know that this shocks you because it is common knowledge that Democrats are dedicated to peace, love, and compassion. The voting base is filled with people almost indistinguishable from Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, and Martin Luther King, but one or two have gone off the rails a bit, it seems.

We keep hearing from our liberal friends that even mildly criticizing a Democrat or blue-haired extremist is tantamount to genocide, but shockingly we keep seeing calls to domestic terrorism, assassination, and actual violence against conservatives in the real world. It is almost as if all that peace, love and understanding we keep hearing about is a talking point, not what really lies within the hearts of Democrats.

I got into a bit of a spat with some liberals about all the harassment of Tesla owners, the shootings and firebombings of Teslas, and the calls from NeverTrumpers to "kill" Tesla. 

Their answer? "What do you expect? I don't condone violence, but Elon Musk deserves it." 

I call this the "Luigi Mangione defense," after all those liberals praising Luigi for striking a blow for justice. His legal team is chock full of the best liberal lawyers, and his defense fund made up from contributions has ballooned to 3/4 of a million dollars

Here we go again. More violent language from the unhinged Democratic Party.

Democrat lawmakers and the Democrat elite are egging on the Tesla Takedown movement--up to and including elected officials who are violating their fiduciary duties as the people in charge of public employee pension funds. Their encouragement to destroy Teslas and harass Tesla owners is not only a likely RICO violation, but it has cost public pensions billions of dollars. 

So much for loving public employees and representing the taxpayers.

I wrote last week about the people behind this--they are well-funded, well-organized, and backed by some of the biggest names in politics. There are manuals online about how to commit terrorist acts against Elon Musk and lots of only slightly veiled threats to kill Elon Musk.

it's not a few extremists doing this. When crowds of liberals gather, they let their freak flag fly and applaud--literally applaud--all the violence.

Liberals are systematically "SWATting" conservatives, which amounts to attempted murder. When police armed with semiautomatic rifles storm into your house in the middle of the night primed for a violent confrontation, one is bound to happen sometime. 

And that is the point--they want to commit murder by cop, and one day soon, they will succeed. And the intimidation factor is huge--my wife has seriously talked about preparing for such an event. I assured her that we were too small a fish in too large a pond to warrant the effort, but it gets into the back of your mind.

People doing this are not exercising free speech--free speech is SPEAKING freely. These are Brownshirt tactics, and the people paying for all this and sending out the instructions for how to do it know exactly what they are doing.

"I don't approve of violence, but..." is just another way of saying "I approve of violence," and that is the common refrain from Democratic lawmakers. Not just Antifa activists on the fringe but straight from the top. 

I would say that no prominent Democrats have denounced this behavior, but that is not quite true. One has, and that is Democratic Party pariah Dean Phillips, who got himself exiled from the party for noticing that Joe Biden was not, indeed, "sharp as a tack." We have reached the stage that saying something that is true gets one exiled from the Democratic Party.

Despite all this, there are still lifelong Democrats who have yet to wake up to what their party has become. Intelligent, well-meaning people who think that the Tesla Takedown people are fringe, that USAID was all about feeding the hungry, that Anthony Fauci was a saint, and that Hillary Clinton has the best interests of the country at heart. 

They probably still think that the Clinton Foundation really helped rebuild Haiti, and that Bill Clinton's flights on the Lolita Express were totally innocent. 

It's a matter of habit, and of inhabiting a bubble. The New York Times and The Atlantic tell them these things, and why would they lie?
