This morning brings a grab bag: A little pope analysis, a bit of navel-gazing over CPAC and the future of the GOP, and a whole lot of yakking about the new Democratic and Republican congressional budgets with Paul Ryan, Chris Van Hollen, John Boehner, Dick Durbin, and the rest of the usual suspects. Expect a few lame “what St. Patrick’s Day means to me” speeches from the various hosts as well.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ben Carson will build on his CPAC speech with an appearance on “State of the Union.” The line-up via National Journal:
Meet the Press hosts Cardinal Francis George, Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, former Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating and former Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend
Face the Nation hosts Ryan, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus
This Week hosts Boehner and Rep. Xavier Becerra, D-Calif.
Fox News Sunday hosts Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, Freedomworks president/CEO Matt Kibbe and former Rep. Steve LaTourette, R-Ohio.
