In fact, it was downright hot hostile for D.C. swamp creatures on a “migrant crisis tour.”

And I’m really not sure how Congressman Jerry “The Penguin” Nadler and his daffy chica sidekick from the Bronx thought this would go any differently.

Furious protesters screaming “Close the border” heckled Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Jerry Nadler and other Democrats Friday as they were holding a press conference on the Big Apple’s escalating migrant crisis.

The New York pols were drowned out by the angry screams outside the Roosevelt Hotel mega-shelter in Midtown on Friday morning.

“Send them back,” one man shouted as the chaotic scenes unfolded outside the city’s main migrant intake site.

“Close the border, close the border. Respect the Constitution, AOC. I am your constituent,” a male protester cried out.

At one point, a security guard grabbed a yelling protester and shoved him behind a barricade.

The protesters — brandishing “Americans first: Vetted & legal migrants only” signs — descended on the hotel on East 45th Street as the lawmakers were addressing the city’s asylum-seeking crisis.

And who wrote that ghastly, worn-out “diversity is our strength” script for him – the Squad or the DNC?

“New York is welcoming countless migrants.” Keep them coming in. Every Republican governor should send plane loads of migrants to NYC because they’ve officially opened their doors.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gave it the old college try when attempting to outline her brilliant summer semester paper titled: “AOC Solves the Migrant Crisis”

“…And ultimately I think that there are three points of contention here that are very important in getting a solution to this issue. The first is that there is consensus here across geography and states on increased federal resources to cities and municipalities dealing with this issue. The second is to allow for work authorizations that folks in here [she gestures behind her toward Roosevelt Hotel migrant shelter] can get to work and start supporting themselves as soon as possible. They’re prevented from getting jobs, they’re prevented from employment, and that is part of the strain on our public system. The faster we can that folks can access the work that they’re asking for legally, the better we can solve this problem. And the third is extension of comfort and protected status for Venezuelans who are the largest population arriving here…”

Believe me, it was hard transcribing that through all the CLOSE THE BORDER howls. And, honestly, howling at AOC as I’m typing – OMG she’s so braindead.

I’m sure the engaged citizens who were concerned enough to make the Roosevelt Hotel congressional dog and pony migrant pity party with these miserable Democratic swamp dwellers would be delighted to learn of AOCs plans to simply turn migrants loose with legal work permits, plus special status so you can NEVER boot their illegal asterisks back across the border. It’s also terrific to think that more tax dollars are going to be shoveled into this Pit of Despair instead of taking care of, like, AMERICANS. The likes of who, in AOC and the Nadler Penguin’s world, have no special status.

The thought of protecting Americans and the border gives AOC gas pains.

One poor fellow (and city council candidate) who was shoved back behind the barrier by cops seems to be at his wits’ end, explaining to a reporter how he’s had to spend hundreds for his kids’ school supplies, but the migrants are getting everything for free.
