When Mila Kunis said she’d never regret her vote for President Obama, I was less impressed with her than I was when she accepted Sgt. Scott Moore’s YouTube invitation to a Marine Corps Ball — and I took to heart commenters’ admonitions not to fall too prey to the celebrity attention trap. But as Moore’s invitation was the shout-out that started the entire celebrities-attend-Marine-Corps-events trend, this seems like a necessary post. (Give me a little credit, people: It’s not just that I want to pay attention to this stuff; it’s that I know plenty of y’all do, too.) Last night, Kunis did, in fact, attend Moore’s Marine Corps Ball. So far, no word on whether the night changed the 28-year-old star’s life, as a similar event supposedly did for her Friends with Benefits costar Justin Timberlake — but she did look pretty classy in that black dress.
Obligatory: Mila Kunis kept her promise, too
