Eric Swalwell and the Brett Kavanaugh Karma Train

The headline on CNN is bad. “Four women describe sexual misconduct by Rep. Eric Swalwell, including a former staffer who says he raped her.” According to the story, “a former staffer of Rep. Eric Swalwell, a leading Democratic candidate for California governor, says that the congressman raped her when she was heavily intoxicated and left her bruised and bleeding, an allegation Swalwell strongly denies.” The woman said, “I was pushing him off of me, saying no, He didn’t stop.” Three other women who spoke with CNN also alleged various kinds of sexual misconduct by the Democratic congressman. This includes Swalwell sending them unsolicited explicit messages or nude photos.

A lot of people on social media are noting the hypocrisy of Swalwell, a “Believe All Women” leftist who is denying all the charges against him. Many are noting Swalwell’s self-righteousness in 2018, when he called for the head of Brett Kavanaugh, a Supreme Court nominee facing allegations of sexual misconduct. On September 17, 2018 Swalwell tweeted this: “The #Kavanaugh defenders are trying to stand on the process/timing of the allegation and wish to ignore its substance. Would they prefer that she never had come forward? Is that what they’re really suggesting?” He then went on TV and suggested that there was a pattern to the Kavanaugh accusations, despite the fact that it was all oppo-research nonsense.

Yes Swalwell is a scumbag and a hypocrite, but there’s an even bigger story here. Over the past several years there’s been a Karma train running over the people who falsely smeared Brett Kavanaugh (and me) in 2018. Let’s go down the list.

Christine Blasey Ford. Still refuses to answer basic questions about her ridiculous story and the people who helped set it up, while asking between $30-50,000 to come speak in her baby voice. (I ask nothing but do take tips!) A fraud with no supporters.

Kate Kelly and Robin Pogrebin. The two New York Times reporters on the Kavanaugh story were blasted, even by their own liberal peers, for how badly they botched the story. Kelly has largely disappeared, while Pogrebin was recently indicted by Nancy Rommelmann at RealClearInvestigations. Rommelmann charges, and with a lot of receipts, that Pogrebin helped destroy the life of a man named Joshua Helmer. “Six years on,” Rommelmann writes, “the fervor of MeToo has cooled. While some people brought down by MeToo gained a semblance of their previous standing, others, like Helmer, have not. He self-exiled to northern Pennsylvania, took up woodworking, and hasn't worked again.”

The Washington Post. The newspaper that broke the story that Christine Blasey Ford had baselessly accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct is now virtually non-existent. Due to low audience, $100 million annual losses and political extremism, it was gutted by owner Jeff Bezos. It now runs a lot of AP wire copy and nobody reads it. It’s over.

Michael Avenatti. The disgraced lawyer and Kavanaugh’s main tormenter. Just released to a halfway house after spending four years in prison for extortion. Still under heavy supervision. Projected release date is 2028, after which he will spend years under probation. Basta!

Diane Feinstein. One of the leads of the Kavanaugh circus, DiFi passed away in 2023. Now residing in hell.

Kamala Harris. The besotted Marxist, future 12-Stepper and former Montel Williams sidekick is making noises about running for president in 2028, but nobody takes her seriously anymore. I’m only sorry I hooked up with her in 1986.

CNN. The perennial basement-dweller in the ratings. Tried to slime me but made me sound awesome. Paramount-Skydance, led by David Ellison, is poised to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), putting CNN under new ownership alongside CBS News. The pending acquisition is expected to take place in September 2026. Ellison has family ties to Donald Trump and will most likely gut CNN.

Doug Liman. The A-List Hollywood director of The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow, and Road House. In 2023 Liman revealed he had been working for over a year on a “secret” documentary about Justice Kavanaugh. What Liman did not anticipate was that my book The Devil’s Triangle would be published, effectively demolishing everything in Liman’s hit job. Justice the movie was spiked, and unless Liman likes getting sued, it will never be released. He is now fighting with Amazon Studios and producing AI slop.

Jackie Calmes. The left-wing Los Angeles Times hack and the author of Dissent: The Radicalization of the Republican Party and Its Capture of the Court. Her book tanked, and she never got over this.

Sara Corcoran. One of the more obscure figures in the Kavanaugh drama, but also one of the most iniquitous. At the center of the most bonkers Deep State story I have ever reported on. The cheerleader who comes on strong to you at the keg party then slits your throat when you pass out. A member of the Deep State High School.

I could go on - there’s Senator Dick Durbin, who is retiring, “I am Spartacus” Corey Booker, virtue-signaling lummox and Avenatti boy toy John Heilemann, not to mention the random dingbat actress.

Who came out clean? The Unknown Hoya. Enjoy the ride, Congressman Swalwell.
