He’s tanned. He’s rested. He’s ready to scream “Islamophobia” and get an invitation to the White House!

Ahmed the Clock Boy is back in the USA. (If you don’t know who Ahmed is, click on that link and educate yourself about your racism)

The local Fox affiliate in Dallas reports in the big homecoming:

Ahmed and his family have missed his grandmother, his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends here in Irving and across North Texas very much,” Aldean Mohamed said. “Ahmed and his nuclear family miss America and their whole family here in America very much.”

And like any other teenager who brought a prop bomb to high school, became a fake Internet sensation, was a propped-up symbol for American racism against Muslims (even though Islam is not a race) and then fled the country to study in Qatar as a guest of that country’s government, Ahmed is looking fro some Summer camp options.

Thankfully, he has a few good options.

MIT, Facebook and NASA have all contacted him and invited him to visit in the next couple months. And it’s a good thing they did otherwise they’d be accused of Islamaphobia. In fact, let me take this opportunity to offer Ahmed a special day at the Hot Air DC offices. I can show him the ropes and teach him a lot about the media and false accusations of racism that end up being used to divide our nation.

Of course, the burning question, now that he’s made his triumphant return, is will Ahmed stay in racist, anti-Muslim America?

The 14-year-old said he’s happy to be back home, and seeing his friends and family is first priority. He’s been going to school in Qatar and says there’s a 50/50 chance he’ll finish high school in the U.S., but says he definitely wants to go to college here. He says he’s interested in coding, engineering and technology.

“I’ve matured more. It’s normal to mature but I’ve matured way more since I got a little bit of publicity, and I’m happy for it,” Ahmed said.

Well, thank God for that.
