What was Hillary Clinton doing on the night of the Benghazi attacks? It’s a question asked on almost a daily basis on blogs and talk radio programs across the country.

And even despite the many hours of testimony the former Secretary of State provided testimony to the House Select Committee on Benghazi, many Americans are still bewildered by what Clinton was doing that night as the US Ambassador and three brave Americans were killed by Islamic terrorists.

Yesterday, I interviewed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) a member of that committee, on WMAL in Washington DC. I asked the Ohio congressman if he knew the answer and he immediately responded, “Yeah we know!”

“We know what she was doing because we have the evidence. We talked about this in our hearing. At 10:08 she sent out a statement, the official statement of our government, and she said ‘Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet.’ Blaming it on a video. But less than an hour later she says to her family, she’s sending them a different story, she tells her family, ‘Oh, terrorists killed two of our people tonight.’ The next day she says to the Egyptian Prime Minister ‘We know the video had nothing to do with it, it was a planned attack, not a protest.’ So, she says one thing privately she says an entirely different story to the taxpayers, to the citizens and most important to the families of those four brave Americans.

That’s what she was doing that night. She was spinning a story to the American people but saying something completely different to her family and to heads of state around the world. “

Jordan also said he doesn’t have a lot of faith in the Justice Department when it comes to fairly determining whether Clinton should face criminal charges over the email scandal, but he would not go so far as to call for a special counsel on the matter.

The entire interview is worth listening to as Jordan hammers political pencil-pushers at the Pentagon who are dragging their feet and refusing to provide information about that fateful night in Benghazi as well as the latest revelations that the emails for one of Clinton’s hand-picked political operatives at State have vanished.

Jordan also reiterated that he would support presumptive nominee Donald Trump in his home state and he plans to campaign in Ohio making the case against Clinton based on her failures and lies over the Benghazi attacks.
