25 House Democrats Prepare to Tell Joe to Go

The dam has broken. Democrats are so panicked about President Biden's debate performance that they are now willing to go public with their desire for him to drop out of the race.

A group of 25 House Democrats is reported to be getting ready to join with Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) who was the first House Democrat to publicly call for Biden to leave the race. The Democrats will ask Biden to drop out of the presidential election if he doesn't convince them he should remain in the race in the next few days.

They say if Biden appears shaky in the coming days they will move forward.

Rep. Mike Quigley, said on CNN Tuesday that it is Biden's decision to make.

"He has to be honest with himself," Democratic Representative Mike Quigley, a moderate from Illinois, told CNN on Tuesday. "It's his decision. I just want him to appreciate at this time just how much it impacts, not just his race, but all the other races coming in November."

Other Democrats are giving interviews and while acknowledging Biden's horrible debate performance, they don't call for Joe to go. One of those Democrats is Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA). She delivered a harsh review of Biden's debate performance in an interview with KATU News on Tuesday. She predicted that Trump would win in November.

“About 50 million Americans tuned in and watched that debate. I was one of them for about five very painful minutes," she said. "We all saw what we saw. You can’t undo that, and the truth, I think, is that Biden is going to lose to Trump. I know that’s difficult, but I think the damage has been done by that debate.”

Despite this, she called on Democrats to accept whoever the nominee would be. “A core tenet of democracy is that you accept the results of an election, and the reality is that primary voting has already happened to a degree that Biden is the nominee," Gluesenkamp Perez said.

What she does in her remarks, inadvertently, is acknowledge that the Democrat primary was rigged for Biden and Democrats have to just accept that. He's their candidate and if he doesn't want to drop out, they have to roll with it.

Centrist House Democrats in competitive districts are fighting to keep their jobs. They are being peppered with questions about Biden when they are in their districts. They are in their districts for the July 4th holiday celebrations. The Democrats are talking about writing a letter to Biden to express their concerns.

One aide said, “It looks like the dam has broken.”

Biden is meeting with Democrat governors today via a teleconference call. He will discuss campaign strategy and his debate performance. There are upcoming meetings with Democrat members of Congress in the works, too.

Adding fuel to the fire, Biden and his campaign are treating the debate disaster as though it did not happen. Everything is fine, why do you ask? It is almost a week since the debate and Biden still hasn't spoken to Democrat leadership in the House or Senate. The anger is festering.

The big lie has been exposed. Democrats know they can't continue acting as though Biden is able to do his job. The Democrats in Congress are just as complicit as the White House, the Biden campaign, and the media in covering for Biden.

Democrats made this situation a reality because they went along with the DNC to clear the field during the primary. They didn't allow others o run against Biden and set up the voting accordingly. South Carolina was their first state in the primary this cycle, not Iowa or New Hampshire where Biden has not done well in previous runs.

It's time for complete accountability. Voters deserve to know what is going on. Biden is putting American national security at risk. Now we watch what Democrats will do. I'm willing to bet it is basically nothing. Some will make waves but in the end, Biden will stay in the race.
