Ken Martin just struggled to answer why he only has $16 million while they are $18 million in debt.
HUNT: "The DNC had $16 million on hand, but you owe nearly $18 million. The RNC has $130 million. What has gone wrong?"

Between the loss of USAID and the rise the DSA, democrats seem to be struggling to fundraise.
He's awfully squirmy for someone who just two weeks ago was bragging about 'skating where the puck was going' as they opened a new southern strategy and are reportedly devoting money and resources there to save democracy.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is launching a new Southern States Resource Hub, a major investment aimed at helping state parties build the strategic infrastructure needed to compete — and win — across the South. The historic initiative follows the Callais decision and comes as the region becomes increasingly important on the country’s political map, with Democrats looking to build a stronger presence ahead of the midterms, 2028, and beyond.
The Resource Hub is designed to address years of underinvestment in Southern state parties and give them additional tools for organizing, voter registration, data, fundraising, and communications to compete in a region where the electorate is rapidly changing. The DNC is particularly focused on strengthening outreach to Southern voters, whose political power is increasingly the target of Republican redistricting and voter suppression efforts across the region.
DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement about the New Southern States Resource Hub:
“I like to say Democrats need to skate to where the puck is going, and for the future of politics in this country, one thing we know is that the puck is heading to the South. As Donald Trump and Republicans focus on attacking democracy in the South while continuing to raise prices and cut health care, Democrats are focused on expanding opportunity, building a stronger coalition of voters, and winning races up and down the ballot. The new DNC Southern States Resource Hub is a historic investment to ensure Democratic state parties in the South have the resources they need to compete, protect voters, and win, because lasting power is built long before Election Day.”
The DNC is still paying off what I'm assuming is Kamala holdover debt, and, much to their dismay, donors haven't materialized and made their way back into the big-tent fold.
....The DNC also has $17.9 million in debts, though the committee has reduced its debts by roughly 3 percent from the $18.5 million in debts and obligations owed at the end of June.
The Democrats’ fundraising arm has been mired in money issues for months: The Washington Post reported in July that though DNC Chair Ken Martin and allies expected Democratic victories and the approaching midterms to bring major donors back, that hasn’t materialized.
For one thing, they have lost a number of their major mega donors, like our own John Morgan here in Florida. He believes that the Democratic Party is 'in a crisis' and is split.
He says that when they put 'socialist' at the end of their name, he believed them. And that's not the party he belongs to.
Morgan has said repeatedly that he will not be working for the party this cycle, if ever again. Some of the videos from his appearances characterize him as a 'former' Democrat donor.' The party cannot afford to lose those guys, as much as they want to court the 'hate the capitalists' bunch.
Bob Kerrigan is a local Pensacola attorney known for his Democratic support but also as a pretty brash speaker, and he was upfront about the party in a Politico interview.
...More than half a dozen donors, bundlers and donor advisers, granted anonymity to speak candidly, said they’ve lost trust in the party’s top organization. Several have redirected their cash to the House and Senate Democratic campaign committees, the party’s main fundraising and spending vehicles for the midterms. Some said they’ve shut out working with Martin, are doubting the DNC’s current direction, or even questioning its very purpose entirely.
Bob Kerrigan, a Florida-based Democratic donor and attorney said the DNC hadn’t reached out to ask him to contribute and complained the party has “never figured out a way to be a party of opposition.”
“There’s a more fundamental issue: What the hell do they do?” said Kerrigan, who estimates he has contributed around $2 million to individual candidates over the years. “They are all in the beltway bubble and they are all important and they collect all sorts of money but what do they do?”
Another anonymous fellow was even more blunt about Martin himself.
...“Nobody wants to give [Martin] or DNC money at this point, but worry is focused on the day after the midterms, because the DNC is more of a presidential player,” one Democratic bundler said. “It’s beyond embarrassing and it’s not going to get better until he is gone.”
Those millionaires and billionaires pay the freight, and it sure looks like they're done being beaten up and paying for the hate-filled cray cray.
There's another big gap in funding that might be directly attributable to the current focus on fraud and straightening out the government bureaucracy, and that corollary is hilarious if it's true.
What has taken the biggest hits of all as far as government handouts in the current scrutiny efforts?
The bazillions of unaccounted-for dollars flowing into the coffers of non-governmental organizations either through direct grants or secondary government bureaucracies like USAID.
Oopsie - what's completely gone and now being seen as a major factor in the sweep of left-wing governments from our Southern Hemisphere?
That's right. All that subversive cash that USAID used to hand out to influence elections, because USAID itself has been disbanded.
And the NGO business is fraught with tears of frustration and anger these days, as the money going by the bulbous checkload to the Stacey Abrams of the world is no longer flowing.
That tap has run dry, and every dollar is being assiduously tracked that does make it out of the Treasury into an NGO's account.
The squeeze is on, it's legit, and I guess we know now where and who it's going to hurt.
Like we need any more confirmation USAID was a money laundering operation that existed for the purpose of funneling money back into Democratic Party campaign coffers.

All of these are the whys, many of which we can see online and on the news every night clearly for ourselves.
What Martin does to change things is beyond me, having trapped himself in the big tent love fest with the violence-prone, Jew-hating, anti-American cray crays.
All of their donkey dreams are circling the drain, and they still need money.
That's what they want.
Where, oh, where and when will they ever find it?
