The 2024 Democrat primary just got a little more fun. A Democrat has come forward to confirm that she will run for president in 2024. It’s Marianne Williamson. How great is that?

Remember how fun she was during the Democrat debates in 2020? She always provided entertainment to those of us who would rather gnaw off an arm than watch a stage full of blithering idiot Democrats drone on and on about their embrace of socialism, and in some cases, communism. She’s a best-selling self-help guru who was an Oprah protege and embraced by bored suburban women across the country.

She said in an interview with Northwestern University’s Medill News Sevice Thursday that she has chosen March 4 as the date to officially launch her campaign in Washington, D.C.

Does she have a chance in the Democrat primary? No, but she’ll open the door to any other Democrats who are ambitious enough to get into the primary. A sitting president is hard to take out as a party’s nominee. Even Joe Biden will be re-nominated if he decides to run again. It’s the reality. Most Democrats admit they don’t want him to run again but you’ll notice that other Democrats aren’t talking about challenging him for the nomination.

Marianne has confidence in her ability to “harness the collective sensibility” of Americans. See, there she goes with her Marianne-speak.

“I wouldn’t be running for president if I didn’t believe I could contribute to harnessing the collective sensibility that I feel is our greatest hope at this time,” Williamson told the news outlet.

She didn’t last long in the process during her run in 2020, though. Her campaign ended before the Iowa caucuses, like a lot of the other Democrat candidates – looking at you, Kamala. She did capture the attention or the curiosity of voters. She was the most Googled Democrat candidate after a debate performance where she accused Trump of conjuring up “dark psychic force” in the U.S. Heh. And who can forget when she spoke of her desire to establish a Department of Peace? Or when she supported spending $100 billion in reparations. She is truly a classic bleeding-heart liberal.

I don’t know, she may have some support for her Department of Peace with Americans who are frustrated with the huge amount of taxpayer dollars flying out the door to Ukraine without accountability. Just a thought.

She is a Democrat and during the interview, she did some capitalism trashing of American corporations. She even slammed the new primary calendar for Democrats where South Carolina will be the first state to hold a primary so that Biden has an advantage right away.

Williamson told the Medill News Service on Thursday that American corporations are trying to “suck the juice” out of democracy, and accused lawmakers of not doing enough to shrink corporate power.

“People who run the government are divided into two categories, those who either don’t care to fix it or do not have the spine to fix it. And neither category should be running this country,” she said.

Williamson also railed against the Democratic Party’s decision to change the order of the presidential primaries — shifting South Carolina up to the first spot and bumping down Iowa.

“How can you claim to be a champion of democracy when your own process is so undemocratic?” she said, alleging that the move is an effort to rig the primaries for President Biden.

She has a point on the change in the calendar for primaries. Can you imagine the reaction from Democrats if the RNC switched things up and ignored the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary going first just to help Trump? It just proves that the DNC knows Biden is a weak candidate. Let’s hope that Democrats piss off as many people as possible at every turn. Let the voters see who they really are.

Marianne Williamson is 70 years old but she’s a young 70, if you ask me. Joe Biden is 80 and he’s deteriorating before our eyes. A one-on-one debate between the two Democrats would be entertaining.

Last week Marianne put out a press release saying she was exploring the possibility of making another run for president. It didn’t take her long to make up her mind. She’s even pre-emptively striking Biden on the economic message he’s been trying out as a campaign message.

“Apparently Biden’s going to run on a message that the economy is getting stronger. I think that speaks to the disconnect between the analysis of party elites versus the struggle of everyday Americans,” Williamson said in a recent interview with Politico.

She said in an interview with a New Hampshire radio station that it’s time to move on from Biden.

“You can appreciate what the president has done — defeating the Republicans in 2020 — and still feel it is time to move on,” Williamson said Tuesday in an interview on a New Hampshire news-talk morning radio program.

Williamson told host Jack Heath on “Good Morning New Hampshire” that “many of us, myself included, feel that in order for the Democrats to win in 2024, we’re going to have to be able to offer to the American people something much more than” what she says Biden is offering.

Will other Democrats find a spine and say enough is enough with Joe Biden?

Marianne will travel to South Carolina, New Hampshire, Michigan, and Nevada after her March 4 campaign kick-off. Let the games begin.
