Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a defiant speech at the UN today, celebrating Israel's victories over Hamas and Hezbollah and chiding western government which have recently chosen to recognize a Palestinian state.
Even before the speech started there were large protests outside the UN.

If the anti-Israel activists were expecting Netanyahu to look ashamed, they got something very different once he started speaking. It began with a map which he had used in his UN speech a year ago.
🇮🇱🇮🇷 NETANYAHU AT UN: “IRAN’S TERROR AXIS THREATENS THE WORLD”
— Mario Nawfal (@MarioNawfal) September 26, 2025
“This map shows the curse of Iran’s terror axis. This axis threatened the peace of the entire world.
It threatened the stability of our region and the existence of my country, Israel.”

He then offered an update, taking special note of the pagers attack on Hezbollah.
NEW: Cheers erupt at the UN as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recalls the country’s pager operation against Hezbollah:

"Remember those beepers? The pagers? We paged Hezbollah... and believe me, they got the message." pic.twitter.com/I1RT11HyV3
So one year later, he noted that many of Israel's enemies, including Yahya Sinwar, are now gone.
Netanyahu brought a map of the Middle East to his UN address, marking the locations where Houthi, Hamas, and IRGC leaders were "eliminated."

"Half of the Houthi leaders in Yemen have been eliminated. [Hamas leader] Yahya Sinwar in the Gaza Strip has been eliminated. [Hezbollah… pic.twitter.com/RoyAZtJUP7
He then pointed out Hamas is still holding 48 Israeli hostages. He said he'd had the IDF set up loudspeakers so his speech could be broadcast around Gaza in real time.

NOW: Israeli PM Netanyahu says intelligence forces wired his UN speech straight into Gaza — broadcasting over loudspeakers and onto Gazans’ phones — as he delivers a warning to Hamas and a message to hostages:
— Fox News (@FoxNews) September 26, 2025
"Our brave heroes, this is Prime Minister Netanyahu speaking to you… pic.twitter.com/DoqvFp5o8C
"I'm sure there are people in New York or London or in Melbourne and elsewhere who are probably thinking, 'What does all this have to do with me?'" Netanyahu said. He then offered an answer: "Everything, because our enemies are your enemies." This was followed by the first ever UN pop quiz.

He then criticized Israel's critics for failing to stand with the country against the barbarians at the gates. "You can't appease your way out of jihad. And you won't escape the Islamist storm by sacrificing Israel."
Benjamin Netanyahu to world leaders:

"Israel’s brave soldiers guard you from the barbarians at the gate. When will you learn that you can't escape your way out of the Islamist storm by sacrificing Israel, but rather escaping it by standing with Israel."

He eventually moved on to the decision by France, Canada and the UK to recognize a Palestinian state. He accused those countries of rewarding Hamas for murdering Jews.
NEW: Israeli PM Netanyahu calls out world leaders who officially recognized the Palestinian state:
— Fox News (@FoxNews) September 26, 2025
"I have a message for these leaders..."
"When the most savage terrorists on Earth are effusively praising your decision, you didn’t do something right — you did something wrong,… pic.twitter.com/C6ZptD8Pns
That led up to what was probably the single best line in his entire speech. "Giving the Palestinians a state one mile from Jerusalem after October 7th is like giving Al Qaeda a state one mile from New York City after September 11th."
ISRAELI PM BIBI NETANYAHU TO THE UNITED NATIONS: "Giving the Palestinians a state 1 mile from Jerusalem after October 7th is like giving Al Qaeda a state 1 mile from New York City after September 11th!"

"This is sheer MADNESS." pic.twitter.com/J8xInuUQ7Z
He then pointed out that a recent vote on this topic in the Israeli Knesset had 90% voting against the imposition of a Palestinian state. In other words, this isn't just his view as a leader from the right, it's the overwhelming majority view throughout Israel.
Netanyahu explained to the world that the entire Israeli public supports apartheid and 90 MKs voted against a Palestinian state: "This is not just my policy, this is the policy of the people of Israel and the State of Israel". pic.twitter.com/cm8FhvNQjm

He wound up the speech by predicting that peace was possible in the Middle East once Hezbollah, Hamas and the current government of Iran had been defeated. He predicted that a future Iran, free of the Mullahs, would be a friend to Israel.
No wonder Bibi is the most popular foreign leader in Iran. It's the biggest platform Iranian people have had at the UN Summit.

PM @netanyahu took a moment to speak about Iranian people as peacemakers, while no other gov officially stood with us.
