MA Legislators Fly to Cuba to ‘Improve Relations,’ Learn From Its ‘Great Healthcare System’

Unbelievable. Nearly a dozen politicians from the only state that voted for George McGovern in 1972 are traveling to Castrogonia this week to admire all the wonderful accomplishments of the “Revolution”, so they can implement the same policies and procedures in their home state. Yeah. Imagine, learning how to improve things here in the U.S. by duplicating what Castro, Inc. has done to Cuba.

Oh, and, yeah, imagine improving Cuba/U.S. relations by engaging in “diplomatic” dialogue. Aaaah, the wonders of faith in Saint Karl Marx. One must wonder why these legislators didn’t mention wanting to learn more from Castro, Inc.’s superb and inspiring garbage collection system.

Eleven House members including Speaker Ron Mariano plan to travel to Cuba on Friday and stay there for a week.

Rep. Marjorie Decker of Cambridge announced the plans Thursday afternoon and said she is leading a group that will meet with public officials, hospital staff, and members of academic and research institutes. They will also meet with Caritas Cuba (Catholic Charities) and other charitable organizations “to learn about and bear witness to the humanitarian needs of the Cuban people.”...
