New York native Secretary of State Antony Blinken tucked into a pizza in Kyiv on Tuesday after reassuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky he would get a big slice of American aid.
Blinken tucked into a pie made by Ukrainian war veterans at Veterano Pizza, with a knife and fork resting by his plate.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba helped him enjoy the pizzas, including one that appeared to be topped with cheese and tomato and the other with salad.
He made the surprise visit to the war-torn country after Congress passed a $60billion aid package after months of stalling from Republicans.
