[This seems like an odd time for this endorsement. The Iowa Caucuses are just three days away. If Trump wins as expected, then perhaps a unity argument makes some sense. If CPAC had issued this endorsement three months ago rather than yesterday, that may have made some sense too. But why not wait for voters to have some say first, at this point? — Ed]
