[Er … perhaps to *make sure* that no one else can win? And to test just how well Trump will do in a general election? I’m always amazed at people who declare elections over before the first vote has been counted — and in this case, before the first debate has even been held. Let me offer the reverse: if Trump really is that solid, why is he so upset at having competition? — Ed]
