In Tennessee, a couple of Democrats were expelled from the legislature for leading a January 6-style protest. In Texas, a federal judge placed a ban on mailing abortion pills — upholding a federal law that has been on the books for 150 years.

And so it goes in politics. Democrats change the rules for a moment of self-gratification only to complain when Republicans use the changed rules against them later.
