This is what “social justice” and “equity” looks like in communist Cuba. Three mothers, one of them pregnant, and their children will be thrown out into the streets. This is socialism in action.
Via CiberCuba (my translation):
Local authorities in the city of Placetas in the province of Villa Clara are planning to evict three mothers and their children on Friday, with one of them being pregnant. The victims told CiberCuba they have not been able to eat since authorities cut off the water and electricity to the abandoned building they are living in.
“We’re scared they’ll kick us out into the street like dogs. We took refuge in this location of the Condor company because they have not provided us with any relief despite three years of requests, and now they’ve cut off the water and the electricity here,” said the mothers who don’t have jobs and receive Social Security.
Condor is a defunct railway company, and the location served as an isolation center during the coronavirus pandemic. It is currently under the control of health authorities in Placetas, where government authorities tried to evict them last week.
