Damar Hamlin was released from the hospital on Monday, a week after the Buffalo Bills safety’s heart stopped and he had to be resuscitated on the field during an NFL game.

UPDATE: NBC reports that Hamlin is being transferred to a hospital in Buffalo from the U Cincinnati Medical Center, but that they believe he will soon get to go home. Not yet, though.
[Great news. Perhaps soon we’ll get more information on what caused his issue, and then be able to discern what it means for the NFL and other high-impact sports. — Ed]
