Joe Biden only ever tells the truth by accident. Occasionally, in the midst of his interminable, disjointed rambling, he stumbles on an utterance that actually reflects consensus reality. Then his staff needs to scramble to “clarify,” or deny that he meant what he very clearly said. Every time he forgets to lie about something he was supposed to lie about, they have to reset the timeline to preserve the narrative.
I assume that’s what will happen with this one …
Yeah, he’s justifying that unconstitutional cash-grab as an emergency provision. Which is bull$#!+, but that’s the argument. Then he forgot all about it when he went on national TV and said, in no uncertain terms, that the emergency has passed.
That’s the problem with a lifelong liar sliding into dementia. Now he can’t remember what he’s supposed to lie about, or why.
