Four Israeli soldiers killed after terrorist rams them with truck

Leah Schreiber, a witness, was leading a group of new soldiers on an orientation tour, taking them to a promenade overlooking the city when the attack happened.

“I was with a group of soldiers when a terrorist attacker drove into the solders,” she said. “People shouted ‘What’s happening’ and he reversed the truck.”

The driver was shot dead. Groups of soldiers who had been on the orientation tour were sat on the ground as the bodies were removed.

Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said the truck veered off course and struck a group of soldiers who had just disembarked from a bus.
