Youngsters from around North Korea travelled to the capital Pyongyang to attend the 7th Congress of the Korean Children’s Union, at the April 25th House of Culture, named after the date of official anniversary of the founding of the North Korean army.

The Korean Children’s Union (KCU) is the first of many state-run organisations that North Korean citizens are expected to belong to during their lives.
