Musharraf convinced Perry will run for president

During an interview with me that we just taped for The Situation Room, former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf told me he believes Texas Gov. Rick Perry will run for president of the United States.

That’s significant because the two men met in Austin last week.

The former Pakistan President said Perry invited him to “exchange views.”

I asked him if he thought Perry would run for president.

‘You need to ask him, but I think, I thought, I did get that impression,’ he said.
