Today on The Ed Morrissey Show (4 pm ET), Kerry Picket brings us up to date on the goings-on inside the nation’s capital. In the second half, we’ll welcome John Ratzenberger for the first time. The veteran of “Cheers” and many Pixar films has a new project, John Ratzenberger’s American Made, a TV series which John is launching with grassroots support through FundAnything:
I’m going to show you how the best in today’s American made companies make their products and introduce you to the remarkable men and women who use their skill and ingenuity to make it all possible. To me, the manual arts have always taken precedence over the fine arts. Remember, somebody had to build a ceiling before Michelangelo could go to work.
From the things we need, to the things we want, to the things we dream about, I’m going to show you how we make it in America.
I’m Not Alone. There are More of Us.
My team and I have partnered up with some of the best American made companies and passionate, American made industry groups to support American manufacturing and help make this TV series possible.
We rolled up our sleeves and came together to contribute to and deliver an exciting campaign that includes fun American products, limited edition memorabilia, on set TV experiences, and a cross-country American Made Festival hosted by me, our company partners and made up of good old fashion all American experiences.
Why Crowd Funding?
My team and I chose to crowd fund the first few episodes of the series in order to (i) promote some great American made companies and bring together a made in America movement prior to airing the series, (ii) to build a relationship with you (our fans) at the beginning and give you an opportunity to be a part of making the show, and (iii) to demonstrate to everyone watching that Americans still believe in American Made.
Tune in to find out how you can help — and score some swag, too!
