I am going to give Jordana Cutler, who apparently is META's (Facebook's) "Public Policy Director for Israel and the Jewish Diaspora," a bit of unsolicited advice. I doubt she will see it, know she won't pay attention, and am certain that she would look down on me as a peon.

But I am a nice guy, so here is my advice. 

When you are fighting the perception that Jews control the media and/or run the world, it's best not to brag that you use your power at one of the most wealthy and powerful companies in the world to shut people up who complain that Jews do. 

Seriously.  This is as convincing as Democrats using lawfare to defend democracy. That's not how it works, folks. 

Bragging that you can shut people up is not a good look, and a pretty unconvincing argument to make that you don't have too much power. 

Obviously, Ms. Cutler is not "The Jews," most of whom have no more power than you or I do, and far less power than the average Somali scammer in Minnesota, but Jews in the cultural elite are indeed just as obnoxious and toxic to our society as any other interest group in the elite. I don't want any of them controlling what anybody says, no matter how awful. 

I even believe that Aaron Rupar should have the right to speak. If that doesn't prove my commitment to free speech, nothing does.

For that matter, does META need a "Public Policy Director for Israel and the Jewish Diaspora?" If I were a stockholder (hint: I wish I were and had been for decades), I would be pretty pissed about this waste of money, just as I would be worried about any similar position for any other ethnic or religious group. Get rid of all the DEI BS, the victim group representatives, and just let people argue it out. 

I say all this as a great admirer of the Jews and Israel. What does a friend of Israel say to a Candace Owens fanatic when they trot out a clip like this? To somebody inclined to think that Jews run the world, having a Jew get up and give a speech basically saying that she is part of a mass complex designed to run the world isn't particularly helpful. 

Of course, she is nominally speaking as a Jew, but the attitude is really reflective of the technocratic mindset. The class of which she is a powerful part is not "Jewish," but rather "internationalist." The Davos class, whose religion is transnationalist post-Western technocracy. Think the European Union, not Zionism, which in many ways is its opposite.
