Checking In on the Libs...

Mark Halperin predicted that if Trump won, America would see the biggest mass psychotic break in history.

Well, he sure was right. Leftists and a number of NPCs who think that Joe Scarborough tells the truth are currently going insane.

I have been battling a crippling migraine all day, so I have no tremendously wise insights to share, but I still am capable of checking in on the reaction to Trump's victory between bouts of nausea, and I thought I would share with you a few of the videos I have run across today.

Keep in mind that these people are filming themselves doing these insane things and sharing them as if sharing your anger, sadness, or insanity with the entire globe is a perfectly normal and even virtuous thing. It is all part of the culture of mental illness, where the more broken you are or appear to be the more virtue points you score.

These people live in a different world than you or I. They are the emotional equivalent of toddlers who rank low on the scale of self-control. They use their emotions as a weapon. Who wants to argue with a toddler?

There must be something rewarding about catastrophizing because liberals sure do a lot of it. It's not that I don't understand people engaging in dooming; after all, if something is so bad and inevitable, one has no responsibility to DO anything. But that is not what is happening here. These people ARE doing something; it's that it is letting their worst impulses run riot.

At first glance one might enjoy a bit of schadenfreude watching these videos, but for me it quickly faded as I realized that the mental breakdown these people are having is induced by the people around them, and particularly the media culture they marinate in.

One thing that is striking, though, is how many of them take the time to set up the camera and get things just right. It's like they can't exist without validation. Do they exist when people aren't watching? They apparently don't think so.

Another striking this is how much projection or mind-reading these people engage in. They are so solipsistic that they can't imagine people thinking differently than they do. There is zero desire to understand others. This, to me, is exemplified by the belief that disagreements represent another person's desire to eliminate them. "Misgendering" is "genocide" because not accepting a person's beliefs is the same as wiping them off the face of the earth. At some level, they believe this.

This person thinks that the people who voted for Donald Trump literally voted against his right to live, as if that is really a thing. Obviously he doesn't believe this is literally true in the way that normal people think of it--nobody wants to kill him. What he really means is that we won't bow down to his vision of how the world should work, which is the same thing to him. He believes that we are required to accept all his beliefs, or he is being killed.

That, come to think of it, is probably why they need to film all this. They exist as a reflection of what others think of them, so when they are not being filmed, they don't really exist. They don't thrive on attention, but they need it as much as they need food and water.

Thinking about it, perhaps I am not enjoying that Schadenfreude as much. These people clearly need help. I am happy to lord it over the folks in the media because they fed into the mental illness of these poor folks.

Looking at the results the media has created, I feel sorry for the victims.
