Now For Something Different: SNP Suspends MP for Saying Israel Not Committing Genocide

Not condemning Israel is so objectionable that the Scottish National Party has expelled a Whip for denying that the Jewish state is committing genocide against Palestinians.

It's probably a hate crime or something, so we should keep an eye on this to see if he winds up in jail or something similar.

A Scottish MSP has been suspended by his party after stating that Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza.

John Mason, who represents Glasgow Shettleston, wrote on X: "If Israel wanted to commit genocide, they would have killed ten times as many."

Mason was quickly suspended as the Whip of the SNP Party following his comment, which was made in response to a controversy over Scottish Foreign Minister Angus Robertson's meeting with the deputy ambassador of Israel in the UK, Daniela Grudsky, which angered many in the SNP Party.

After his suspension, Mason reiterated his position and told Sky News, "It's never my intention to upset people, but I'm not afraid of upsetting people in the sense of if I think something important needs to be said."

We have reached peak 1984; or worse, perhaps we haven't yet. Someday soon, they will put dissenters in chains and have rats gnaw on their faces to convince them to love Big Brother.

The SNP is a fascist party that recently replaced its racist, fascist leader who hates living in Scotland and Great Britain.  He literally complains about there being too many white people in power in a primarily white country.

So it wouldn't surprise me a bit to see even more consequences for Mason. There are draconian hate crime laws in Scotland, nothing is more hateful than not wishing for all Jews to be murdered by Hamas, right?

The West is becoming unrecognizable

Public Finance Minister Ivan McKee said Mr Mason's comments were offensive, inaccurate and not in line with SNP values.

SNP MSPs will meet to discuss a potential fixed suspension for Mr Mason when parliament reconvenes next month.

The withdrawal of the whip means Mr Mason must sit as an independent MSP until it is restored.

His post was in response to criticism within the SNP of a meeting which took place between External Affairs Secretary Angus Robertson and Israel’s Deputy Ambassador to the UK, Daniela Grudsky.

We are well past the point where dissent is criticized. It is now becoming outlawed across the world.
