The United Nations can’t muster enough votes in the General Assembly to denounce the rape, murder, torture, and kidnapping of innocent civilians.
You might think that puts a dent or two into its claims of moral authority. You would be wrong, because the countries who wouldn’t vote to condemn Hamas think that the terrorism was justified, and the countries who voted to condemn Hamas don’t have the courage to admit that barbarians run much of the world.
The UN is a ridiculous institution. A farce. It exists mainly for two reasons: 1) to provide a convenient excuse for graft and nice paid vacations to New York City for third-world dictators, and 2) a place to have secret negotiations with adversaries that could take place nowhere else.
16-year-old Armita Geravand is now in a coma after being beaten by the morality police of the Islamic regime (which the New York Times said was disbanded). On November 2nd, the Islamic regime will be Chair of the U.N. Human Rights Council Social Forum. Why, @antonioguterres? pic.twitter.com/qGhlFDpfu1

The value of #2 isn’t worth the bother of housing such a corrupt institution in our nation, or paying so many taxpayer dollars to corrupt bureaucrats.
Case in point: the upcoming Chair of the UN Human Rights Commission is the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Yes, that Iran. Iran keeps killing its young women for having the courage not to wear a head scarf, so it knows a thing or two about protecting human rights.
A woman from the Iranian morality police tells other women on the Tehran subway that the morality police killed 16-year-old Armita Garavand for not wearing the veil in public.

We are also talking about the same Iran which is currently funding Hamas, which may explain why the United Nations can’t gin up the courage to condemn Hamas terrorism. Their moral exemplar is promoting and funding the barbarity.
Here are the 78 countries that voted against condemning the terrorist attack by Hamas.

Iran is arguably one of the worst abusers of human rights in the world today, although it has serious competitors. Perhaps Libya is worse, but Libya is barely a state anymore thanks to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. It is a tribal region that has revived slavery.

So many of our elite institutions today are shams, existing solely for the benefit of a preening global elite who pretend to care for humanity while looking out for nobody but themselves. That Americans are forced to fund such a corrupt institution is a farce.
End the UN.
