Several people have begun to notice the conspicuous silence of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which routinely labels any group to the right of BLM as “hate groups,” on the rise of anti-Israel/pro-Hamas protests in the United States.
The SPLC jumped the shark decades ago, becoming part of the propaganda infrastructure of the radical Left and Democrat Party. Their role is to smear critics of Left-wing politics and politicians bigots and Nazis, all while pretending to care deeply about human rights. It is all a front, as demonstrated by their absolute silence on the groups defending Hamas’ hideous terroristic attacks on Israeli civilians.
SPLC Won’t Say Whether It Plans To Designate Left-Wing Groups Supporting Slaughter In Israel As Hate Groupshttps://t.co/deUzJWVmLs

I don’t need to belabor the point that support for Hamas and Palestinian terrorism has exploded in Left-wing circles. You have all seen the videos and should have read the countless articles I and others have written about the vile expressions of approval for atrocities that academics, students, and activist groups like BLM.
If there is a case to be made that a group is dedicated to hate, these groups would meet the test. After all, they find “hate” in Moms for Liberty.
Yet the SPLC is not only silent on the matter but has linked to anti-Israel sites that claim that Israel’s policies amount to terrorism which is far worse than anything the Palestinians do.
It is part of the curriculum the SPLC pushes out to schools to be taught to students.
Unsurprisingly, Learning for Justice – the Southern Poverty Law Center's curriculum project – is promoting a one-sided progressive narrative about Israel.

The SPLC’s “Learning for Justice” page links as a resource an article that claims Israel is a terrorist state and that Palestinian use of terror is far less pervasive.
Tell that to the raped and beheaded, SPLC.
A resource included on the Learning for Justice page leads educators to an external page titled “Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.” That page, written by a professor at the University at Buffalo, states “my central argument is that, contrary to the standard mythology, especially in Israel, Israeli terrorism has been significantly worse than that of the Palestinians.”
“In particular, the truth should make it clear that Israel has neither the moral legitimacy nor the national interest to refuse to negotiate with Palestinian organizations that have employed terrorism, particularly Hamas, without whose participation there is no chance for a compromise settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” the page continues.
Michele Exner, a senior advisor for PDE, told Crisis in the Classroom (CITC) that Revere Public Schools should be “ashamed” for leading educators towards such language.
“I think what we’re seeing is this ideology of oppressor versus oppressed, these teachings that some educators and administrators and schools are trying to get into our classrooms,” Exner told CITC. “It’s wrong and there’s no room for it.”
The Southern Poverty Law Center is a fraud, totally unconcerned with “hate,” except to the extent that they want to foment it in a manner that benefits the Left. The SPLC is, itself, a hate group spreading lies for ideological reasons.

If the SPLC can’t arouse itself to condemn the outpouring of hate being directed at Israel and all Jews it is pretty clear where their priorities led. Not that you or I didn’t already know, but perhaps now the MSM patsies who parrot the SPLC line will begin to notice.
Nah. Probably not. Most of the people in the MSM agree with the SPLC and its tactics. While I don’t doubt that many MSM folks are upset at the atrocities, I expect their enduring hatred of Israel will supersede that inconvenience soon enough.
They may not approve of Hamas’ tactics, but I doubt that will lead them to discard their allegiance to Hamas’ cause. Or the SPLC’s.
