You have to keep your priorities straight.

Only 47% of all students meet English language standards in LA, and 33% meet math standards. That’s ALL students in LA. For Black students the numbers are more dismal: 31% for English language standards, and 17% for math.

That’s why it is so important that a week is dedicated to teaching about alphabet ideology.

Perhaps it doesn’t matter, though, since the curriculum I am about to go through is for elementary school students. You know, ages 6-10 years old. Perhaps they need this even more than learning how to read and do math. Why focus on reading and math when you can spend time educating kids about alphabet people.

You have to keep your priorities straight.

I do admit that there is nothing more heartwarming than a 6-year-old “coming out” to his or her or ze or zir’s peers. It must be a feel-good moment when a child reveals their true nature as a queer unicorn with a scat fetish. They are embracing who they are, right?

A 7-year-old has to get up to speed on the current pronouns to use, and given how many of them there are these days and their growing numbers, memorizing worksheets is probably warranted. Schools can focus on multiplication tables later, right?

Signing a pledge to become an “ally,” and learning about important world-historical figures like Jazz Jennings will round out their education. An 8-year-old without a proper appreciation for a young boy who began transitioning at his own age is an uneducated 8-year-old.

Intersectionality has become the key concept in society, so might as well get kids to start chanting the right nostrums as young as possible. If they don’t start now, White Supremacist culture will become even more deeply embedded into their souls.

Not that they can ever eliminate their White Privilege. That is systemic. But at least they can feel awful about their skin color. Something good will come of all this.

Unless the schools focus mightily on transgender heroes who fought daily against attempts to “erase” them kids might not understand how important it is to explore their own Queer identities. By 1st grade, they may already believe that they have a sex, but LA schools will help them realize that they could be furries if they want to be.

By now scientific research by well-credentialed experts has conclusively proven that traditional Western school curriculums do harm and are a form of violence against children. Critical theorists, Queer theorists, and indigenous Zen masters have all established that it is time to dump irrelevancies such as addition, subtraction, multiplication…and DIVISION!

Only White Supremacists promote division, right? Decisiveness is pushed by the Bad Orange Man, so let’s bring everybody together in order to embrace our true selves.

In segregated schools, of course. Being around Whites may be harmful for the melanin-blessed. So perhaps some division is good while other kinds are bad?

It’s so confusing.

This is where we are, folks. This is what schools are doing to Elementary School students.

Ugh.
