Idaho madness update

I wrote a story about how gender ideology has invaded the Idaho school system. Because I have still not calibrated my expectations to the level of depravity in society, I was actually surprised to find that even in Idaho gender madness has taken hold among the overeducated classes.

I shouldn’t have been, of course. Like lies, which spread around the world before truth can get on its pants, evil too can outrun decency like a trans-athlete can out-swim his female competitors.

Well I was forwarded a couple of updates to the Idaho story last night. Two more facts have come out that enhance the idiocy and evil being perpetrated.

The first is that the High School graduation ceremony that had been publicly “canceled” was rescheduled and held in secret over the weekend.

This is, of course, very on-brand for the Left, which likes to have secrets from the public and often parents, although in this case at least parents were invited to the school function I believe.

The secrecy was supposedly due to threats directed at the school, a claim for which I would require actual evidence before I believed it. Threat and violence hoaxes are so common on the Left these days that without proof positive that the threat took place and that it wasn’t perpetrated by a Leftist it is safer to assume that they either fail to exist or were false flags.

False threats are used so commonly as an excuse for whatever a Leftist wants to justify–victimhood is currency on the Left–that one just has to shrug. Only MSM folks seem to believe them. It’s not that threats of violence are nonexistent from the Right, but the ratio of genuine to fake threats weighs heavily against believing the claims.

The other bit of news out of Idaho backs up this presumption. Travis Lohr, the student who sparked the backlash against sanity, was denied a job by the husband of a teacher who works at the school.

Lohr had been accepted for a job with the U.S. Forest Service’s Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District.

“I wasn’t able to walk at graduation. My offer to work for the forest service was rescinded,” Lohr also said.

Lohr told Campos-Duffy he was slated to start work Sunday, but when he went in to complete the final paperwork, his boss informed him he was rescinding the offer. He described the job as “fighting wildland forest fires.”

“That’s part of life, as I am learning, and I am going to continue to grow from here. I’m not going to dwell on it.”

“I don’t believe I would have been punished at all, personally, if I had said ‘black lives matter,'” Lohr told Campos-Duffy.
“For this to happen over what I said, it’s just controversial … If people speak up like I did … it seems frowned upon. You can be punished for it, obviously, like I’m being punished,” Lohr said.

As a federal agency I wonder if the Forest Service actually can do that for legally protected speech, especially speech that has nothing to do with his job and that took place before he was even employed. As a non-lawyer I can’t adequately answer the question. The fact that the person who denied Lohr employment apparently did so out of personally-motivated retaliation definitely clouds the issue.

The Idaho Tribune has confirmed that the man who rescinded his contract is named John Heyn, the head of the North Idaho Type III Incident Management Team with the U.S. Forest Service’s Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District.

John JUST SO HAPPENS to be married to a teacher at Kellogg High School named Natalie Heyn.

It is ironic and revealing that it is the young High School student who has behaved as an adult throughout this affair, and it is the Leftist adults who are behaving like sophomore mean girls taking it out on somebody who bothers them.

So it goes in modern America, where we coddle the adults who throw tantrums, and throw our youth to the wolves.
