NFL week 16 open thread

Here’s the schedule. With Dallas hanging on to beat Carolina last night, all eyes will be on Green Bay to keep pace in the NFC home field advantage race. The Packers are in Chicago against the Bears. You’d think the 12-2 Packers could handle the 5-9 Bears easily, but they are division rivals and the Bears did hand the Packers one of their two losses in week 5 in Green Bay. So it could be interesting. The Patriots will try to stay perfect against the Dolphins who are on their longest winning streak of the year (yeah, that’s sarcasm). Taking a look at the standings and the playoff picture, the four NFC division champs are locked in and 3 of the AFC’s are as well. As for the rest, on the NFC side, the Giants, Vikings, Saints and Skins are all fighting for playoff spots and the Vikings and Skins collide in the night game tonight. On the AFC side, the Steelers, Jaguars, Browns and Titans are still in contention. So it’s a big week with the season on the line for lots of teams.
