Politinerds: Rob George of the New York Post

PolitinerdsHotAir

This week on Politinerds we talked with Robert George, editorial writer for the New York Post and a conservative/libertarian pundit, as well as a regular TV commentator on Fox, CNN, MSNBC and other outlets. Rob is originally from Trinidad and came to the US by way of the UK, which he tells us about briefly. He also discusses his rather unexpected journey from a family, liberal background to a conservative world view, starting when he worked for Newt Gingrich as a young man.

Rob has quite a few stories to tell about life in the editorial world, particularly at the New York Post. (He wasn’t the guy who wrote “Headless Body in Topless Bar” but he was there for it.) He’s also had to balance a lot of competing ideological views in his time, along with making a go of it in the Big Apple. Enjoy the interview.

Remember, the show is now available on iTunes so you can catch up with us as soon as new episodes air. And for you non-iTunes users, there’s still the archive of all our previous shows.
