I’m tempted to say this quip proves that he’s running, but maybe after six months of absorbing the grinding, relentless, day-in day-out dismalness of Clinton 2016 with the rest of us, he just couldn’t resist taking a shot at her. She’s terrible. And what do we do to those that are terrible? At a bare minimum, we mock them. That’s what we do.
No, no, I’m kidding. Obviously he’s running.
Speaking of terrible people, enjoy the bonus clip below in which famous nice guy Joe Biden, who’s not above racial demagoguery if it’ll serve his or his party’s interests, assures a group of Latino activists that the GOP primary race is a de facto “beating” of Hispanics. Never mind that two members of the Republican field — quite possibly the two most formidable candidates of the group — are themselves Latino or that, with the notable exception of Trump, this year’s campaign has been conspicuous for how little red meat is being served to conservatives on the subject of immigration vis-a-vis Romney’s big “self-deportation” push four years ago. A guy who’s willing to leak heart-tugging stories about how his dying son wanted him to live in the White House is also obviously willing to compare people like Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio to 19th-century Know Nothings. That’s who the nice guy on the Democratic side is.
