Open thread: Sunday morning talking heads

On Friday, National Journal called Rand Paul “the Republican to watch in 2013.” He’s certainly the one to watch this morning: Amid an otherwise dreary Sunday a.m. field, he’ll be on Fox to chat about counterprogramming Marco Rubio after the SOTU, blocking John Brennan over drone strikes in the U.S., enraging his dad’s fans by voting no on Chuck Hagel, and panicking the GOP consultant class with the potential for a third-party run in 2016.
