It pains me to say it but this is even more clever than Blanche Lincoln’s ad back in March, which, to this point, was the best Democratic ad I’d seen this year. Don’t feel too guilty for enjoying it, though: Tancredo’s entrance into this race as a third-party candidate has already crushed the GOP’s chances more than any Hickenlooper spot ever could. In fact, the Republican Governors Association has apparently already decided it’s a lost cause and is refusing to buy ads for surprise GOP nominee Dan Maes. Can’t win ’em all, guys. But if things go according to plan, we’ll win almost all.
