MSM Uses Hamas as a Credible Source While Hamas Uses Crisis Actors

Every time you hear a number specifying the Palestinian casualties in Gaza, you should know that those numbers come from Hamas.

You rarely hear any equivocation about the reliability of the numbers, and we are told they come from the “Gaza Health Ministry.” The Gaza Health Ministry is Hamas.

The MSM will often repeat Hamas talking points, like using the term “occupation,” despite the fact that Israel hasn’t occupied Gaza for almost 20 years. Hamas is the ruling government in Gaza, not Israel, and has been since 2007.

The only reason we are waiting for Israel to invade Gaza is that it doesn’t occupy Gaza. If it did, they wouldn’t need to invade. There is no occupation, whatever the MSM says.

So how reliable a source is Hamas? Let’s take a look at just one example of their propaganda machine.

I am often skeptical of claims that people are crisis actors, mainly because there is no way to verify such claims in most cases.

But they exist, and we all know it. Here in the US, we have seen examples of actors pretending to be Nazis or White Supremacists in order to smear Republicans, and I usually assume that any such group of protesters is filled with actors. I can’t know for certain, but it is a pretty safe bet.

Remember when the Lincoln Project tried to smear Glenn Youngkin by hiring Young Democrats to pretend to be White supremacists?

Some uses of crisis actors are so obvious that it is impossible not to notice if you dig a little bit. Not that many people bother doing so, especially if they find the propaganda useful for their preferred narrative.

Such is the case with Hamas and much Palestinian propaganda.

We saw how credulous the MSM was about Hamas’ hospital bombing hoax. The New York Times is still trying to claim that Israel MAY have bombed the hospital, despite vast amounts of evidence that the damage was caused by a misfired Palestinian Islamic Jihad missile.

They simply must hold onto the Narrative, and if that means pushing Hamas propaganda then so be it. As long as it makes Israel look bad many in the MSM are willing to spread the lies.

Many of the people who avidly watch and spread this propaganda actually know that it is BS. They simply don’t care. They are grasping at straws, looking for anything to justify their hatred and support for terrorism.

Sure, terrorism is bad–in the abstract. But the Jews deserve it, right? Look at this video!

It’s the same sort of psychological trick that forces people to tear down leaflets displaying the faces of Israeli hostages. Inconvenient facts are ignored, and excuses for brutality are manufactured.

Many Leftists actually revel in the violence–it is energizing!

So these lovers of violence latch onto excuses and invent them. They justify terrorism with deception and often engage in self-deception to deal with cognitive dissonance.

Sure, violence is bad. But the Jews deserve it, right?

Often this propaganda is not what makes people embrace the evil; they already love it. What the propaganda does is make it possible for people to justify their own hatred and lust for violence. They pretend to believe the lies.

So we get the crisis actors, who serve the purpose of making evil people feel good about themselves. Everybody knows it is a lie, but it is a useful one. Especially if a few people are taken in.

The MSM plays along, pushing Hamas propaganda. The myth that there is a “Gaza Health Ministry” is just one of many lies. The existence of an “occupation” is a lie. That Israeli hostages are actually treated well is a lie. That the Israelis killed 500 Palestinians in a strike on a hospital was a lie.

That last lie is a whopper, and every single count of Palestinian casualties repeats the lie, and the MSM repeats those numbers.

Are civilians suffering grievously in Gaza? Of course, and that is tragic. It is also Hamas’ fault.

Don’t let the crisis actors and their enablers convince you otherwise.
