New Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll Says Dems Missing More Than Just the Drug Boats

Oh, this is giggle-lishous.

And Harvard had to have a cow when the answers came in.

You all will never guess what is popular with Americans, including a majority of Democrats.

This is.

Yessirree, Bob.

Smokin' drug-running Venezuelans or whoever happens to be running the throttles at the time is alright by us - by a whoppin' majority of Americans and 56% of Democrats.

BOOMITY

On this day of all days, it's comforting to know that, for all the vile screeching in the street, the majority of Americans stand with Israel over the barbarians at their doorstep.

These next two pie charts - God, I'm hungry - were pretty interesting and should be very upsetting to the sombrero set.

Yeah, amigos - people are pointing fingers atchoo.

And I didn't mean like a sneeze or something.

Americans are blaming Democrats flat-out for acting like selfish, pinche banditos.

This was reinforced by a column I read today in the Telegraph, which basically asked Democrats, 'What are you clowns smoking?'

It should have all been so easy. The Republican administration, chaotic as always, had overstepped the mark on inflationary tariffs. Trumped-up charges against regime enemies and bizarre claims about autism were turning away the young independent voters Trump relied on to sweep the 2024 presidential election. All the Democrats had to do was sit back and wait.

But hubris had gotten the better of them. What should have been ordinary negotiations over a funding bill instead became the catalyst for the first federal government shutdown since 2018. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, furious about a failure to extend Covid-era emergency Obamacare subsidies, threw the Capitol Hill equivalent of a temper tantrum on Wednesday, forcing a partial shutdown. The pause looks set to continue at least until next week.

...The Democrats really ought to have known better. I can’t help but wonder, then, if there might have been an ulterior motive. Could it be that Schumer and Jeffries felt cowed by their radical-Left flank into taking the fight to the GOP?

A toe-curlingly embarrassing livestream promoted by the two would seem to suggest so. Jeffries’ YouTube channel displayed a never-ending parade of Democrat influencers (think Gen-Z TikTokers with brightly-dyed hair) attempting to win the PR battle over the shutdown. Members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus showed off what appeared to be a Chinese “Labubu” doll. Jeffries himself appeared on the stream and launched into a bizarre rant. “I’m from Brooklyn. We get down like Shirley Chisholm: unbought and unbossed at all times.”

Party favourites like Jasmine Crockett and AOC steered well clear, and by 2.30am the Democrats had run out of participants and had to temporarily pause the live stream. At its peak, it attracted 1,000 viewers on YouTube. The White House, which trollishly promoted videos of Democrats like Schumer condemning prior shutdowns concurrently on X, peaked at more than 100,000. The narrative had been set – against the Democrats. Congressman Shri Thanedar seemed to give the game away in admitting the shutdown was a deliberate tactic: “If that means we got to shut this government down, so be it!”

What buffoons.

Overall, 'lowering drug prices, deporting illegal immigrants, and cutting government waste' were the most popular policies across the board.

Like, hang on a second - isn't that the point of Trump's entire presidency?

How is it that the American people who support all of this feel they're in the minority? That the president is losing support over these issues?

Thank the American news media.

...The so-called "debate" is just the sound of a  loud, radical minority that happens to own all the microphones.

Take heart, all of you - that's if you were concerned at all.

It's just that everything's going so well, they can't let you know.

The CNN poll guru says Trump has the most stable approval rating of any president ever.

There's a reason.

We know what we voted for, and for the first time in forever, we're finally getting it.

If we thought our job in pushing back against the Academia/media/Democrat censorship complex was over with the election, think again. This is going to be a long fight. Ed, David, John, and I are here for it.
