Kash Patel Says They're Movin' on Out

The 'they' in 'they're' being the FBI, and no one was more surprised to hear the news than Deputy Director Dan Bongino.

YOU JUST GAVE UP A BIG NUGGET THERE

The two FBI honchos were on Maria Bartiromo's show for an interview this morning, and Patel was detailing his plans to start moving FBI personnel out to the states, 1500 folks at a time. Every state, Patel says, is getting a build-up. He hopes to inspire more kids and young adults to think about being not just agents but also things like cyber types and analysts by having these folks out where Americans can see them in action, see the FBI being actual crime fighters again.

Instead of pasty-faced administrative wonks in shades, planning and doing unspeakable things in a brutalist behemoth in Washington.

...“So we are taking 1,500 of those folks and moving them out. Every state is getting a plus-up [supplemental supply of agents]. And I think when we do things like that, we inspire folks in America to become intel analysts and agents and say ‘We want to work at the FBI because we want to fight violent crime and we want to be sent out into the country to do it.’”

Speaking of that building - that was the big news Patel broke during the interview.

The FBI will be leaving the Hoover building, as Patel has always said he wanted to do if he ran the zoo.

...And I didn’t know that I was going to do this, but I’m going to announce it on your show. Anyway, this FBI is leaving the Hoover building because this building is unsafe for our workforce. And we want the workforce…

BONGINO: You gave up a big nugget.

It's a nugget that's been on Patel's mind for a long time.

..."I'd take the 7,000 employees that work in that [FBI] building and send them across America to chase down criminals... Go chase down m*rderers and r*pists and drug dealers, and violent offenders."

Patel wants a meaner, leaner FBI in a building commensurate with their dedicated service to the country, not the rambling, decaying artifact of a weaponized justice system.

...“This FBI is leaving the [J. Edgar] Hoover Building because this building is unsafe for our workforce,” Patel told Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo in an interview set to air on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

...“We want the American men and women to know if you’re going to come work at the premier law enforcement agency in the world, we’re going to give you a building that’s commensurate with that, and that’s not this place,” the FBI chief added.

Patel did not specify what safety hazards are posed by the massive brutalist structure on Pennsylvania Avenue between the White House and the Capitol — though the building is draped with nets to prevent chunks of concrete from falling onto passersby.

As much as Trump hates the hulking, brutalist monstrosity, Patel probably won't face any arguments from the boss.

...“It’s one of the brutalist-type buildings, you know, brutalist architecture. Honestly, I think it’s one of the ugliest buildings in the city,” he said.

It's also, thanks to the skulking, authoritarian Biden regime, gotten one of the ugliest auras.

I don't think they could knock it down soon enough for me.

I only hope they cleanse the site with fire and salt.
