In the annals of modern military service and warfare, mingling and being mangled in Joe Biden's fragmented, bereaved father brain, is there any heroic deed his late son Beau hadn't accomplished repeatedly or any combat zone Beau had yet to conquer single-handedly?
I can't think of any off the top of my mostly intact head.
Most of Biden's exaggerated or outright mistaken remembrances of his late son are treated with bemusement or irritation and written off as the heartsick and lonely ramblings of an already mentally failing geriatric dementia case. No, Saint Beau didn't do that, but who cares what his father brags about?
The ramblings of a bitter, angry, doddering old man.
Far worse are Biden's blatant disrespect and disregard for the sacrifices of the military he commands and to the loved ones of those who were truly lost in action, unlike whatever Beau scenario is playing in Biden's vapor-filled head that day. The watch checking, the denial of losses - all those strikes at the broken hearts of families who have truly paid in blood for this country, as opposed to creating heroes in their heads.
For a nasty liar who loves trotting out scurrilous, debunked Trumpian tall tales of disparaging and deriding military...
Biden's tall tales grow more dramatic every time he repeats them.

This morning, he bizarrely claimed he was with Trump when he said the fabricated "suckers and losers" hoax. pic.twitter.com/7raGlTXj19
...he certainly has his own shining moments of obnoxious glory that are rock-solidly documented instead of hearsay.
BIDEN LIES: Biden repeatedly accuses Trump of what he is guilty of - take for example the 'sucker and loser' lie - it was Biden, not Trump who called soldiers 'stupid bastards' to their faces.

Biden claimed Trump called fallen soldiers "suckers" and "losers." This allegation… pic.twitter.com/lbVN9vAPY5
But somehow, they haven't stuck...at least not yet.
It seems as if they might begin to after word of a heated confrontation between Biden and Democratic congressmen during a Zoom conference call this weekend started leaking out.
One of those fellows on the call - which was purportedly arranged for Biden to reassure them of his fitness and assuage their concerns - was the congressman from Colorado's Sixth Congressional District, Jason Crow.
According to documents leaked to Puck, the call was already on shaky ground, with an angry Biden responding waspishly to questions concerning his debate performance and discussion of his real chances for victory in 2024. POTATUS came unglued when Rep Crow had the unmitigated temerity to quiz him over national security concerns.
Vesuvius blew but it was what he said attacking Crow personally that is both a head scratch and, as The Federalist say, should be his own "losers and suckers" moment.
...The president then launched into a screed detailing why he believes Crow is “dead wrong on national security.”
“You saw what happened recently in terms of the meeting we had with NATO. I put NATO together. Name me a foreign leader who thinks I’m not the most effective leader in the world on foreign policy. Tell me! Tell me who the hell that is! Tell me who put NATO back together! Tell me who enlarged NATO, tell me who did the Pacific basin!”
The clincher came when Biden demanded Crow “Tell me who did something that you’ve never done with your Bronze Star like my son.”
While Biden did not repeat the lie that Beau Biden (who earned a Bronze Star after serving in Iraq) died in Iraq, as he has claimed several times before, the president did imply that Beau did more with his decoration than Crow, who served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
As anyone who has been in the military knows, a Bronze Star is a neat thing to have, but it is not always for running into the teeth of battle. Sometimes, sadly, it is handed out posthumously because the service doesn't know what else to tell grieving families, as the Daily Caller's Geoffrey Ingersoll found out while serving as a Marine journalist in Iraq.
In fact, it often is NOT combat-related at all. It is often handed out as an administrative "atta-boy" for folks who never took a single round of incoming or had to duck in a foxhole while returning fire but who filed papers competently, perhaps organized difficult scheduling, etc., and did their jobs really - or exceptionally - well.
That is the Bronze Star Beau Biden got. He was a lawyer in Iraq, not a warrior. As Ingersoll wrote in the Daily Caller's email this morning:
*That’s because Beau’s bronze star was a participation trophy. He got it for being a good lawyer in Iraq.
Congressman Crow, on the other hand, spent his time rocking and rolling, first enlisting in the National Guard and then working his way into the officer corps.
...Former Army Ranger and Bronze Star recipient Jason Crow grew up working class — he worked minimum-wage jobs during high school and enlisted in the National Guard and worked construction to help pay his way through college.
After graduating, Jason joined the active duty Army and served in the Army’s storied 82nd Airborne Division and in the elite 75th Ranger Regiment, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Even when he rose to the rank of Captain, Jason always remembered what it was like to march in the boots of an Army private. For Jason, this is the essence of servant leadership — always putting the needs of those you lead ahead of your own — and it continues to drive his approach today.
As Ingersoll's email puts it (in pithy Marine Corps lingo):
...Crow, on the other hand, got his for direct combat operations against an entrenched enemy as part of the 82nd Airborne. Ie, being a legit gunslinger versus filing paperwork with no typos.
And the scummy blowhard President of the United States completely dissed this decorated veteran with three combat tours under his belt.
And sounded like a lunatic to boot.
...“And I’m proud of your leadership,” Biden couched. “But guess what, what’s happening, we’ve got Korea and Japan working together, I put Aukus together, anyway! … Things are in chaos, and I’m bringing some order to it. And again, find me a world leader who’s an ally of ours who doesn’t think I’m the most respected person they’ve ever—”
Crow interjected that “it’s not breaking through, Mr. President, to our voters,” but by then, Biden was already busy boasting about his inflated view of his foreign policy record and telling Crow that he “oughta talk about it.”
“On national security, nobody has been a better president than I’ve been. Name me one. Name me one! So I don’t want to hear that crap!” Biden continued.
I'd like to know when the "losers and suckers" hits start coming for the old fart. Or does he continue to get his senior pass stamped "ignore him on this" because he's an enfeebled, vicious old asterisk?
As Ed posted earlier, even scuzzy Adam Schiff has come out calling for Biden's empty head. And Ed's noted a rogue's gallery working the DNC to stop the Biden vote, so maybe they feel they have enough ammo to take him out themselves.
Right now, Republicans are happy to sit back while POTATUS keep screaming and Dems keep squirming.
They'll soon get to watch the whole donkey explode like a week-old rotten carcass at the US-Mexico border.
Or a Chicago street in the summer.
Woof.
Man, is it ever gonna stink.
