Because, you know – all that stuff about faux-women being inherently stronger by virtue of physiology is only so much bigotry, you TRANSPHOBE BIGOTY TYPES.

Oh, my goodness. What this woman’s fervently held cult beliefs coupled with what she doesn’t know about biology could get her killed. Or at least her skull fractured, as an MMA fighter named Tamikka Brents found out when she squared off in the ring against a trans named Fallon Fox.

The 2014 fight was so brutal, the ref had to stop it after only 3 minutes.

Another part of the problem with Fox was the part where he’d boxed two previous fights – won by knockouts – as a woman, without ever informing anyone he was, in fact, a man.

38-year-old Fallon Fox (5-1) is one of the most controversial fighters in MMA. As many now know, she began life as man but obtained a sex change in 2006. A few years later she then this she pursued a career in mixed martial arts. Sounds like a movie right?

After two fights Fox then publicly revealed her past as a man, but at that point she had two first round knockout wins to her name. This caused a stir in the world of MMA that had the likes of Dana White and Joe Rogan talking about her. Fox’s case is very peculiar and is such a grey area that it continues to divide opinions across the world as to whether she should be allowed compete in MMA against women or not.

That debate once again flared up at the weekend after Fox, allegedly, sent her opponent, Tamikka Brents, to hospital to receive treatment for a concussion, a broken orbital bone and get 7 staples in her head. The fight, which lasted 3 minutes, took place at local MMA promotion Capital City Cage Wars.

And don’t you know it was Rogan who was “vile” for voicing adamant objections to Fox fighting women and former bantam weight MMA champ Rhonda Rousey who was “equally as crude” for saying?

” She can try hormones, chop her pecker off, but it’s still the same bone structure a man has. It’s an advantage. I don’t think it’s fair.”

I’m not seeing the problem nor how Fox – who was Boyd Burton, Navy veteran and father of one before deciding to whack his nether regions, wear dresses, make-up and fight like a girl – becomes the victim here. He’s a fraud and perpetuated a more serious, potentially deadly one, the second he stepped into the ring to thrash women who had no idea he was a man.

As Brents, the boxer who wound up with her head in pieces and stapled back together, told an interviewer afterward:

“I’ve fought a lot of women and have never felt the strength that I felt in a fight as I did that night. I can’t answer whether it’s because she was born a man or not because I’m not a doctor. I can only say, I’ve never felt so overpowered ever in my life and I am an abnormally strong female in my own right,” she stated. “Her grip was different, I could usually move around in the clinch against other females but couldn’t move at all in Fox’s clinch.”

Brent’s not a jockey, but she sure knows what a mule kick feels like. Our NYT/Slate/NYU-j school prof faux boxer has no clue what boxing means, less mind what a mule looks like.

It’s not just a strength issue, either, It’s an overall difference. There an interesting side-by-side record comparison on a site known as Boys vs Women. They take world records from boys’ and ladies’ track competitions, put them in order according to fastest times, and highlight which sex owns the records. Overwhelmingly…sheesh. That’s not even the right word.

Boys up to the age of 18 are already obliterating adult women. Ask any U.S. ladies soccer team member.

For the simpler among us who need colors and pie charts, like NYU journalism profs, there are obliging medical professionals who try to explain the differences in ways even the over-educated can understand.

Then again, sometimes no amount of careful explaining, pie charts, cartoons, and education can fix stupid…

…when you’ve convinced yourself every word is a clever blow against the patriarchy.

Especially when you’re not talking about your own head.
